Important:  Ascorbic acid or vitamin C is more than a vitamin.
Why? It regulates many functions in your body to make sure they're doing their best job in keeping you healthy!

Benefits of Vitamin C:  Curing the Incurable

It's important to mention first that Vitamin C has very low toxicity. It’s a safe substance that is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the Food and Drug Administration.

Now, there are many experts on vitamin C... Nobel laureates, medical doctors, scientists, cardiologists, and even optometrists.

One of these experts is Dr. Thomas Levy, a medical doctor and also a board-certified lawyer. Dr. Levy has done a lot of research on vitamin C and its impact on chronic diseases.

As a result of his research, Dr. Levy has also written several books. One of them is "Curing the Incurable, Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins”.

This book alone has over 1,200 scientific references.

It documents some of the evidence related to how vitamin C helps the body fight disease and stay healthy.... protect the body from toxins, help the body fight infections, among many others.

The list of benefits of vitamin C in this article comes from trusted sources only. One example of these sources is the research and documentation from Dr. Thomas Levy.

This article also supplements the information found on these sources with personal experiences

Heal and Prevent Cancer

Many doctors have used and continue to use vitamin C to help the body prevent and fight cancer.

One of these doctors is Dr. Robert Cathcart who treated over 25,000 patients with vitamin C.

Dr. Cathcart found that the daily vitamin C doses that cancer patients need are between 15 and 100 grams. This amount is total per day divided into 4-15 doses.

Today, functional and integrative medicine clinics continue use vitamin C to treat cancer. One of such clinics is the Riordan Clinic, established in 1975 by Dr. Hugh Riordan.

Also, Dr. Thomas Levy is one of the trusted doctors that is part of the medical staff at the Riordan Clinic.

Control Heart Disease

Another of the great benefits of vitamin C is to control heart disease.

Dr. Linus Pauling is the only person awarded two un-shared Nobel prizes in the world. He documents the evidence in his Unified Theory research paper. He used only vitamin C and the amino acid lysine.

Many people, including me and my wife, follow the recommendations of Dr. Linus Pauling.

It has helped me and my family depend less on drugs, by making the drug more effective. And at the same time, it protects the body from undesired side effects that many of these drugs have.

Some people have even stopped taking any blood pressure drugs.

What we have learned is that it's critical to have a vitamin C dose plan that can help you stay healthy. And also help your body heal from other chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer.

Prevent and Treat Infectious Diseases

Dr. Frederick Klenner was a pioneer in the use of high dose vitamin C for a wide variety of disease. Many of them infectious diseases.

Dr. Klenner is a medical doctor with a master’s degree in biology. He documented the amazing results of using vitamin C over 40 years of medical practice.  And he published 20 scientific papers.

The benefits of vitamin C include helping the body fight viral and non-viral diseases. The scientific references are in Dr. Levy's book, mentioned above.

This list is not a complete list.

Protect the Body from Toxins, Drugs, Poisons

The benefits of vitamin C to protect the body from many toxins and poisons are amazing. Vitamin C can neutralize many toxic substances and make them less toxic or nontoxic.

Dr. Levy's book (see references) list all scientific references and studies.

These studies show that the body uses almost all vitamin C when there is toxicity. This shows that vitamin C protects the body from toxins.

Vitamin C also helps increase the potency of many drugs. And at the same time, it protects the body from harmful side effects.

An example is chemotherapy drugs. Enough vitamin C can help the anti-cancer drug be more effective. And it can do this without increasing the drug’s toxic effects.
